Jessica works for Life Counseling Center in Easton, MD and specializes in children ages 3-10 using Play Therapy. Play Therapy is a theoretically based approach to therapy that is developmentally appropriate for young children. Children and adults communicate very differently. Children require therapists who understand and specialize in their unique developmental and emotional needs and connect with them in a way that they feel understood. Jessica views her clients holistically and uses the therapeutic relationship with them to explore their feelings, thoughts, behaviors and perceptions. She customizes treatment to suit their individual situations. Children feel safe with Jessica and explore their problems in a child-friendly environment through therapeutic play. Jessica helps children learn about themselves and develop positive ways to navigate through life.
Jessica is currently working on becoming a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) which is a credential earned by meeting criteria through the Association for Play Therapists.
Clients who are 10 and up Jessica uses art therapy, talk therapy, and therapeutic games to help them explore their problems. Before specializing in children, Jessica began her practice helping struggling marriages. She still continues to see couples and help them along in their journey together.

Confidentiality and Feedback:
Confidentiality is very important in play therapy. The therapist will help the child to understand that she will not be talking to other people about what is said and done in the playroom unless she gets worried that the child is being hurt or is in some kind of danger. The therapist will also tell the child that they are free to talk about their play therapy with anyone they choose but they do not have to do this if they don't want to.
Feedback to parents, referrers and other significant adults in the child's life is also very important and will be given sensitively in order not to break the child's confidentiality usually based around the child's needs rather than the content of their sessions.
If abuse is disclosed it is required by law to report this information immediately. If a child intends to harm him/herself the therapist will make every effort to ensure their safety.
Authentic Web Designs primary goal is to design one of kind sites for businesses to help increase visibility, growth & financial stability. Another way we have found to help traffic more people to your site is to set up "network" pages on every site we design. By setting up network pages, every time someone visits one of our sites they will have direct access to all other sites by just a click of their mouse. If youre in need of Land Scaping, you might also need or know someone who needs a Web Site Designed, a Catering, a possible Church to attend, Mental Health Counseling or a Beauty Treatment. Love _ First "Site" Network connects businesses that would not typically connect, which allows them to advertise & possibly generate more business for one another.
